Platform / Evidence Ledger

Build proof as workforce operations run

The Evidence Ledger records who made which decision, why, based on what data, under which policy, and with what outcome — assembled as work happens, so the answer already exists when anyone asks.

Every governed decision · replayable · regulator-ready

The problem

When something is questioned, the story should already exist

Today it doesn't. Workforce reviews begin with exports, screenshots, scattered timestamps, and approvals buried in inboxes — and the people who made the decisions may have moved on.

01

The proof exists — in twelve places

The roster export, the clock data, the award clause, the email approval, the spreadsheet override. Assembling one answer means chasing all of them — per decision, per question.

02

Logs prove activity, not validity

System logs say the job ran at 4:52pm. They don't say which rule applied, which version was in force, what data it evaluated, or whose authority approved the exception.

03

Reconstruction happens at the worst time

The history gets rebuilt under regulator deadline, at consulting prices — and a "good faith" defence depends on records nobody was asked to keep.

Provenance, not logs

An audit log proves the work ran. The Evidence Ledger proves the decision was governed.

Every workflow tool produces logs. The Ledger records something logs can't — the full decision, replayable later. Each entry contains:

  • Actor — the person, system, or AI agent that made or triggered the decision.
  • Inputs — the exact source-of-truth values the rule evaluated against.
  • Policy — the Domain Pack rule and version in force at decision time.
  • Result — pass, flag, or gate, plus any exception path taken.
  • Override — the authority and reason, captured by name, if anyone intervened.
  • Outcome — the downstream consequence: paid, held, escalated, blocked.

The proof position

"Why was this allowed?" becomes a lookup, not a project

Without the Ledger, every question is a reconstruction. With it, the proof assembled itself while the work happened:

For operators The record of what happened and why exists from the moment it happens — no separate evidence work.
For leaders Board and regulator questions answered from the decision chain, not from whoever remembers.
For auditors & advisors Source, rule version, authority, and outcome inspectable per decision — minutes, not weeks.
